Trainer Orientation

Select all sessions you are able to attend. It is only required to attend one session, however, please select as many as possible so that we may schedule all interested ITs and ITEs in an efficient manner. Space is limited in each trainer orientation.

Below are the levels of the new Leader Trainer (LT) and Leader Trainer Educator (LTE) certification and how they correspond to your current IT or ITE certification. Please make selections that reflect your current highest level of IT or ITE certification. Use the below examples as a guide. Example 1: An L5 Coastal Kayak IT would select the checkbox for "Level 5 Coastal Kayak Instructor Trainer (IT) or Educator (ITE)" under Advanced Coastal Leader Trainer. Example 2: An L3 Coastal SUP ITE who is also a L4 River SUP IT would select the appropriate checkboxes under "Coastal Leader Trainer (LT) / Coastal Leader Trainer Educator (LTE)" AND "Advanced River Leader Trainer (LT) / Advanced River Leader Educator (LTE)". Example 3: An L3 River Kayak IT who is also a L2 River Canoe IT would only need to select "Level 3 River Kayak Instructor Trainer (IT) or Educator (ITE)" under River Leader (LT) / River Leader Trainer Educator (LTE).

ITEs who participate in an orientation are able to volunteer their time to provide this orientation session to other ITs and ITEs in small groups. This will only occur for an allocated period of time to facilitate the onboarding transition.
