Join us as we paddle to the confluence of the Ocmulgee and Oconee rivers where the Altamaha is born! The Ocmulgee Water Trail Partnership is sponsoring its 7th annual paddle event on Saturday, June 8, 2024. “Paddle the Forks II” will put-in at the Lumber City Landing on Hwy 341 in Lumber City, Georgia and take out at Towns Bluff Landing in Hazelhurst, Georgia. This paddle is expected to take at least six hours depending upon river flow. Registration opens at 7:30 AM at the Lumber City Landing. A shuttle (included) will depart at 9:00 AM from the take-out at Towns Bluff Landing, 45 Riverwood Trail, Hazelhurst, Georgia.
