Our expert ACA Instructor Trainers can help make your dream a reality! Our ACA Instructor Certification Workshops will equip you with the knowledge and skills to serve as a professional river kayak instructor, honing your teaching, technical knowledge, group management, safety and rescue, and paddling skills to inspire aspiring paddlers. We also offer training such as ACA skills courses and assessments to help you prepare for an upcoming certification course.
The ACA Level 3 River Kayaking Instructor Certification Workshop focuses on teaching in class 2-2+ whitewater environments. Instructor candidates should have all the necessary skills featured in Level 2-3: River Kayaking curriculum. This workshop focuses on teaching these skills. To prepare for this course, it is recommended to work with a local ACA Level 3 (or higher) Instructor on an ACA Level 3 Skills Assessment.
Current ACA Level 3 Whitewater Kayaking Instructors are welcome to attend as part of your ACA Instructor Update requirement.
