Help train boaters to “win it’ even on a really hard river day when the vibe turns scary. Bring needed skills and strategies to your company, boating crew or home river community.
This Level 3-4 Instructor Certification Workshop will cover all aspects of the ACA’s Level 3-4 Instructor Criteria for the Safety & Rescue curricula. Get set up to run dynamic and thoughtful drills, gritty rescue simulations (scenarios), learn how to promote, insure and administer rescue courses open to the public, all while managing risk and promoting rescue readiness in our boating community.

By registering for this course you have the option to shadow one of Jordan’s Rescue courses open to the public.
Course Fee $865
Rescue specific equipment provided.
All other equipment available for rent by prior arrangement.

ACA Membership $40,
SEIC Dues $30, both are annual.

Jordan Taylor is an Instructor Trainer at L4 and an Instructor at L5. They serve as a voting member on the ACA Safety & Rescue Committee, and are on the Astral Designs Rescue Pro Team. Jordan has thirty years of experience instructing whitewater and has served many organizations in an instructor development role: Davidson College Outdoor Program (NC) The Calleva River School (DC), National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center (CO), Zoar Outdoor (MA), Madawaska Canoe Center (Ontario) and others. Taylor is passionate about educational spaces designed with lots of different kinds of people in mind.
