The ACA office invites current ACA Level 3 and 4 River Canoe and River Kayak Instructors and Instructor Trainers to join us for an engaging update event on April 25–26 on rivers in the Plattsburgh, New York region.

This update weekend will offer a valuable opportunity to refine skills, share best practices, review current teaching and assessment approaches, and connect with fellow instructors and trainers in a dynamic river environment. Participants can expect meaningful time on the water, professional exchange, and discussion centered on effective instruction, paddlesports education, and program quality.

Whether you are looking to meet your ACA instructor certification maintenance criteria, strengthen your instructional toolbox, or reconnect with peers in the river discipline community, we hope you will join us for a productive and enjoyable weekend on the water.
