This Level 1-2 Canoe Instructor Certification Workshop will be facilitated by L4 River Canoe ITE Jordan Taylor.

Venues will be various parts of the Potomac River and Antietam Creek near Harpers Ferry WV on the MD side of the Potomac.
We will meet June 16, 17, 18.

The ACA recommends you complete a skill assessment prior to an Instructor Course course. A phone call with you and Jordan, or an email recommendation from an ACA Instructor you have paddled with can suffice.

Course fee: $450
(deposit required to hold spot, Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, check accepted)

ACA Membership $40,
SEIC Dues $25, both are annual.
Lodging, Food, Snacks

You provide: Boat, Paddle, Lifejacket, Helmet, lunch, snacks, water, lodging (if applicable). Some equipment available for rent/loan if arrangements are made in advance.

Jordan Taylor has over thirty years of experience instructing whitewater and has served many organizations in an instructor development role: The Calleva River School (DC), National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center (CO), Zoar Outdoor (MA), Madawaska Canoe Center (Ontario) North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) and others. He is also a SWR IT and a Kayak ITE. Taylor is passionate about educational spaces designed with lots of different kinds of people in mind.
