PS2 Curriculum
The curriculum emphasizes safety and skills, and it is designed for teachers and youth leaders who want to include paddlesports instruction in their programs. There is a both a classroom component as well as an on-water module. They can be taught as separate, stand-alone units or combined.
This curriculum was a joint venture of the ACA and the American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation (AAPAR). It was produced under a grant from the Aquatic Resources Trust Fund administered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
While the timeline for grant sponsored programs has ended, the PS2 curriculum remains available for your review and use. To download a copy for free, please click here.
