ACA Open Canoe Slalom Nationals and North American Championships – 2025

The Minden Whitewater Preserve has hosted many national and world cup slalom events over several decades, including the ACA Open Canoe Nationals in 2002, 2008 and 2019. It also hosted the Pan-Am Games 2015.
The campground (capacity of 350) is onsite and has washroom facilities, portable toilets, and outdoor hot showers. There is a two-story clubhouse that will be the event headquarters. It’s a spectator-friendly location with parking and river-edge trails. The nearby town of Minden is only a 10-minute drive to grocery stores, hardware stores, motels and restaurants. The Minden Whitewater Preserve has wheelchair-accessible paths and ground-level washrooms.
