Level 1: Introduction to Kayaking Youth Skills Course

Safe, fun, and educational: Kids love kayaking and take to it almost instantly! Water and life jacket safety along with steering and controlling a kayak are our primary goals in this personal, small group class. Students learn through a variety of games, group activities, and camaraderie. Class setting is calm flat water in a pool so kids are at ease and can focus on a great experience. All equipment and pool fees are provided and included in the tuition. Equipment used is specifically designed for kids. NOTE: Ages 10 yrs to 17 yrs old.
