Level 2: Essentials of River Canoeing Skills Course
Kickapoo State Recreation Area, Kickapoo Park Road, Oakwood, IL, USA
Class will run from 9:30am-5:30 pm Saturday and Sunday. We will start with dry-land and flatwater training on Saturday. We will move on to moving water on Sunday. We will have a scheduled break each day for lunch. Concessions will be available on Saturday for those who wish to buy their lunch. Please plan to bring your own packed lunch for Sunday.
The course fee is $120/participant. This does not include lodging, food, or equipment. Canoe, paddle, and life jacket rentals are available at the state park for an additional fee.
