Introduction to river kayaking taught by ACA certified instructors. Participants, ages 12-17 with a participating guardian, will learn basic paddling strokes, kayak safety & rescue techniques.
Class will begin and end at Water Works Park Little Stone Shelter. Registration fee includes transportation upriver to designated launch location, all necessary safety equipment and kayak use.
River run will begin at Middlebury Rd. launch in Kent to Water Works Park in Cuyahoga Falls for a 4.6 mile trip.
Our kayaks offer a 56″ cockpit length, 22″ cockpit width and a 300 lb capacity.
