This is an ACA L2 Essentials of River Safety and Rescue skills course. This one day class will benefit any paddler that would like to improve their skills and awareness of river hazards and what to do when things “don’t go as planned”. Some skills covered are, swimming, wading, throw rope use and how to deal with a boat stuck on a rock in the river. We will meet at Meramec State Park, near Sullivan, MO. Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 9am to 5:30 pm. Registration fee of $100/participant.
