The ACA Kayak Rolling Instructor Endorsement Workshop provides the knowledge and skills needed for effective, reliable kayak rolling instruction in calm water. Participants will learn techniques that minimize the risk of injury, both mental and physical, to the student and instructor throughout the progression of the roll.
This one-day workshop is focused on teaching the kayak roll as an add-on to your current certification or helping work toward your goal of teaching this skill. This workshop is open to ACA Level 2: Essentials of Kayak Touring, ACA Level 2: Essentials of River Kayaking, and above ACA Instructors. Having a safe and reliable roll from a non-setup position is a prerequisite for attending this course.
