Level 4: Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Certification Workshop (IDW/ICE)

Each spring and fall the River House Outdoor Center offers an opportunity for paddlesports professionals and enthusiasts to earn an internationally recognized instructor certification through the American Canoe Association. We call this event ACA Week. A variety of certification levels and disciplines are available and are chosen based on community needs. Current ACA instructors can recertify or update during ACA Week. All participants must take the 2 Day ACA Paddlesports Theory Workshop and then choose the 3 Day Discipline Specific Workshop of their choosing. For spring of 2023 we are offering ICWs in L-IV Rafting-Paddle and Oar, and SWR L-IV.
