Level 4: Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Certification Workshop (IDW/ICE)

The River House Outdoor Center is proud to offer the ACA Swiftwater Rescue ICW as part of our popular ACA Week Event. ACA Week allows Instructor Candidates to take several ACA Instructor Certification Workshops back-to-back in multiple ACA disciplines. In the Spring of 2026, ACA Week will offer ICWs in the disciplines of Whitewater Kayaking, Whitewater Rafting (Paddle and Oar), and Swift Water Rescue. Take one, two, or all three.
Traveling Instructor Candidates have access to Kayaks and Rafts with all accompanying equipment at no additional charge as needed. Eugene boasts several nearby rivers and flatwater venues as well as all the amenities needed to have a pleasant experience including Campgrounds, Hotels, Restaurants and a vibrant downtown and university district.
