Practice Swiftwater Rescue in the (relatively) warm waters of the Rio Grande!

Three day course on the Rio Grande near Taos covers the essentials of swiftwater safety and rescue. Topics covered include river rescue methodology, planning, whitewater swimming, throw bagging, extractions and cynches & mechanical advantage. This course is perfect for commercial and private boaters looking to brush up on their river safety skills. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an ACA SWR Skill Assessment card suitable for raft guides and other professionals.
