This is a two day course for current American Canoe Association L3-4 Kayak Instructors who need to update and keep their instructor certification current. Located at the Calleva River School and on the Potomac River near Washington DC.
At Calleva’s River School we believe in regular rescue training because it is fun, because you might need it someday and because, when that day comes, we want you to be able to respond confidently and safely. Don’t forget, rescue training helps you stay safe, but even more so you are preparing to support your crew. When your whitewater situation gets real, will your skills be sharp?!
This is listed as a Skills Assessment course, but you can take it without the formal assessment.
