Level 4: Whitewater Canoeing Instructor Certification Workshop (IDW/ICE)

This Level 3-4 Canoe Instructor Certification Workshop will be co facilitated by L4 River Canoe ITs Jordan Taylor and Jordan Kincaid.
We will work in a variety of venues around Western NC, like the Tuckaseegee and the French Broad .
The ACA recommends you complete a skill assessment for Level 3-4 to participate in this course. A phone call with you and Jordan, or an email recommendation from an ACA Instructor you have paddled with can suffice.
Course fee: $750
(deposit required to hold spot, Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, check accepted)

ACA Membership $40,
SEIC Dues $30, both are annual.

Jordan Taylor has thirty years of experience instructing whitewater and has served many organizations in an instructor development role: The Calleva River School (DC), National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center (CO), Zoar Outdoor (MA), Madawaska Canoe Center (Ontario) North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) and others. He is also a SWR IT and a Kayak ITE. Taylor is passionate about educational spaces designed with lots of different kinds of people in mind.
Jordan Kincaid has world for many years in Outdoor Education where he taught a variety of river, mountain, and wilderness skills at organizations like the North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) where he served as the Whitewater Program Manager, the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and WISP Mountain Ski School. He is current faculty at the French Broad River Academy. In addition to being a Canoe IT he is a Level SWR Instructor.
