Level 4: Whitewater Kayaking Instructor Certification Workshop (IDW/ICE)

This instructor certification workshop is designed for experienced river kayakers that are interested in earning an instructor certification. This is an intensive 5-day instructor workshop that includes training/development and instructor assessment. The course is hosted by the Virginia Outdoor Center in Fredericksburg, VA, and will be co-led by Ben Morton and John Garman. Before contacting the instructional staff, interested participants should first review and self-assess with the ACA’s Essential Eligibility Criteria and the ACA Level 3 (River Kayak) and Level 4(Whitewater Kayak) Instructor Criteria.
