Volunteers will paddle with DRN staff to search for an aquatic plant (Podostemum) that has been missing from this stretch of the Delaware River since the 1880s (150 years ago). The volunteer paddlers will receive training on survey techniques and identification of this unique aquatic plant, and during the course of each paddle date, the team will search for the aquatic plant while paddling and while wading shallow areas of the river shoreline. Multiple paddle days will occur for this event.
