Join Paddle Perry for their 2023 guided river excursion series. Paddling Magnet – Derby on June 3, 2023.

This is an 8 nautical mile trip on the Ohio River down river to Derby, IN. It will take approximately 4-5 hours to complete. Park at the Derby boat ramp, 12800 IN-66 Derby, IN 47525 to catch the shuttle to Magnet.
Please arrive early as we will depart the Derby boat ramp at 1 p.m. CST!!! Cell signal is spotty, please make all of your arrangements ahead of time. Call Paddle Perry at 812-608-0626 with any questions/concerns before 11 a.m. CST on June 3.
The Derby Association has granted us access to camp on the riverfront of Derby at their park. If you choose to camp, use the 1 p.m. shuttle service. If you do not choose to camp and would prefer to meet us in Magnet and grab a ride back after the paddle please select the shuttle service in the Add-Ons. You may also make your own arrangements. Enjoy dinner at the Derby Tavern after the paddle. (No campfires allowed at the camp site.)
Please RSVP online. You will be required to sign a waiver before launching with us. Life Jackets are available to everyone free of charge. You must wear a life-jacket while you’re on this trip with us. Children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
