River Leader Certification Workshop

The ACA River Leader certification prepares you for a range of environments from short, mild outings to more challenging and adventurous day trips. This program dives into a dynamic learning experience that covers on-the-water management techniques, decision-making, communication, planning, risk management, and rescue solutions—all while having fun and building on an existing foundation of paddling skill and experience. Camping available onsite, booked separately.
Cost: $525
Equipment NOT provided, but available to rent.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old. Must be current ACA member. All prerequisites listed below must be completed before course start date.
Course Prerequisites:
- L1, L2 and L3 skills assessment- choose from kayak, raft, or SUP discipline
- Wilderness First Aid / CPR
- Swiftwater Rescue
