2026 Summer Solstice Celebration Sticker Design Contest

The ACA Summer Solstice Celebration Sticker Design Contest is an opportunity for paddlers to show off their creative side and design the official sticker for the 2026 celebration.

The winning design will:

  • Be displayed on the ACA website
  • Be used in marketing materials promoting the event
  • Be printed as die-cut stickers and distributed at in-person paddling events hosted by ACA members over the Summer Solstice Celebration (June 19-21, 2026)

Contest Details

Contest Timeline

  • Submissions Open: April 10, 2026
  • Submission Deadline: May 10, 2026
  • Public Voting: May 15–22, 2026
  • Winner Announced: May 25, 2026

All eligible designs will be featured on the ACA website, where the public will vote to select the winning design.

This is a popular vote, so be sure to tell your friends, family, and paddling community when and how to vote for your design!

The winner will be announced on the ACA website, as well as on ACA’s Instagram and Facebook pages. If your design is selected, you will be contacted via email.

Prizes

  • Grand Prize Winner:
    • $250 NRS digital gift card
    • Recognition across ACA platforms
  • Additional Winners (Random Drawing):
    • Two participants will each receive a $100 NRS digital gift card, selected at random from remaining eligible entries

Guidelines

Create a sticker that captures the spirit of:

  • Paddling
  • Community
  • The energy of the summer solstice

Designs should feel welcoming, inclusive, and fun.

Required Elements

Event Reference
Designs must include: “2026 Summer Solstice Celebration”

ACA Branding
Include at least one of the following:

  • ACA logo
    • if using the American Canoe Association logo, you can download a png. file with a transparent background of both the full color and white versions of the logo in our Brand Resource Center.
  • “American Canoe Association”
  • “ACA”

 

Format

  • Designs must be submitted as a .PNG file
  • Minimum 1000px wide
  • Maximum file size: 10 MB

Content Restrictions

  • Must be original artwork
  • No copyrighted or trademarked material (unless owned by the designer)
  • No explicit content, including alcohol or drug consumption

Content Rights

By submitting a design, participants certify that:

  • They are the sole creator and copyright owner of the design
  • The artwork is original

Designers retain copyright to their work unless selected as the winner.

The rights to the winning design will be transferred to the American Canoe Association for use in promoting the 2026 Summer Solstice Celebration and producing event stickers.
