- Rudy has attended 5 Paralympics in the sport of swimming.
- In the London 2012 Paralympics, Rudy competed in both swimming and track and field.
- Rudy has won 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze Paralympic Medals.
- Rudy is currently training for the LA28 Games which would be his 6th Paralympics.

Off the Water
Rudy works full-time for the Challenged Athletes Foundation with their Programs Team. He puts on different sport clinics throughout the year in San Diego for athletes with physical disablities.
