
The USA Canoe Polo National Teams are preparing to compete at the 2025 COPAC Pan American Canoe Polo Championships, taking place August 22–24 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The United States will be represented in both the Men’s and Women’s divisions in this high-stakes continental qualifier for the 2026 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships. The top team in each division will earn an automatic berth to next year’s World Championships in Germany.
Men’s National Team Roster
The U.S. Men’s team features six athletes drawn from two of the nation’s leading clubs:
- Austin Aquabats: Ahmed Sami, Bill Deggs, Curt Burdorf, Mark Poindexter
- Bay Area Pelicans: Matt Summers, Sebastian Palluk
Women’s National Team Roster
The U.S. Women’s team brings together eight athletes from across the country:

The team is coached by Nick Porter (Austin, TX). Despite the challenges of coordinating training across multiple states, this dedicated group has worked tirelessly to come together for national and international competition.
