Beyond the Paddle: The ACA Story Project

Celebrating 145 Years of Serving Paddlers!

For the 145th Anniversary of the American Canoe Association, we are kicking off an initiative we are calling “The Story Project”. This is a chance to remember, share, and celebrate the people and moments that make paddling great by publishing stories for a month, with the culmination being on August 3, the day the ACA was founded 145 years ago. Our hope is that you read the stories, they bring a smile to your face, and if you are able and willing, you give back to paddlesports either through a donation or your time. When we all do this, we ensure the future is even brighter than the past.

We feel very fortunate to have received more stories than days between now and August 3! THANK YOU to everyone who contributed a story.  We look forward to continuing this project next year!
