This 4-day endorsement is for paddlesports instructors, trip leaders, outfitters, recreation program managers, rehabilitation specialists, and those who want to include people with physical disabilities in paddlesports programs. The Adaptive Paddling Workshop will teach how to compensate for a paddler’s loss of function due to physical disability and how to adapt equipment and instruction, focusing on the paddler’s ability. This course includes hands-on learning in both a classroom and in calm, protected waters with instructor peers and with students with disabilities. Kayaks will be used for the course. Cost is $425.00
