Are you new to paddlesports or looking to get into the sport? Not sure which boat is right for you? That’s exactly what Go Paddle Utah’s Intro to Paddle Sports: Boat Demo & Skills Day is for! Join us at Deer Creek State Park for a full day of fun, hands-on exploration, and expert guidance on the water. Whether you’re a total beginner or a paddling pro, this event is your chance to test-drive a wide range of kayaks, packrafts, SUPs, and canoes—no prior experience or preferences required. Our team of GPU mentors will help match you with the right crafts based on your interests, skill level, and goals. You’ll get 30-minute demo sessions with as many boats as you like, plus free instruction ranging from basic strokes to intermediate techniques.
