Level 1-2: Essentials of Stand Up Paddleboarding Instructor Certification Workshop (IDW/ICE)

Welcome Level 1-2 Paddlers! This Instructor certification workshop is a combined level 1 and level 2 workshop that helps you to become an ACA instructor. Level 1 requires basic paddling experience and Level 2 requires a significant amount of technical skills and teaching skills. Most folks who have paddled for one year consistently or more have a good chance of passing level 1; however, most folks take level 2 twice (once to learn and once to pass).
Level 1 instructor candidates: you are required to be in the course from May 31 to June 1. You’re welcome to attend June 2nd and 3rd as instructor development workshop.
Level 2 instructor candidates: you are required to be in the course from June 1 to June 3 and in addition you will have an 8 hour online portion to be completed before you attend the course.
