Level 2: Essentials of Kayak Touring Instructor Certification Workshop (IDW/ICE)
Hammocks Beach State Park, State Road 1511, Swansboro, NC, USA
This course is a 4-day course designed to train kayak touring candidates to become ACA instructors. During the first two days candidates will learn the skills required to be a Level 2 ACA kayaker. The last two days will test their teaching abilities of ACA knowledge, skills, maneuvers, and rescues. This is required to become an ACA certified paddling instructor. This course focuses heavily on how well candidates can demonstrate and teach the ACA topics.
