The on-water weekend is an on-land and on-water skills workshop which covers the entire ACA Level 1 & 2 curriculum. Skills are designed for all kayakers and is may be modified to address individual and class skillsets. Please, no run-about (pelican style) kayaks. Medium recreation and sea kayaks preferred.
Paddlers are expected to paddle in open-water in most weather conditions. Paddlers will be exposed to large-water paddling, culminating with a 5.5 mile trip to the Shark River Headwaters.
