This course focuses on the development of paddling skills including the following paddle strokes: forward/reverse sweep, in-water/sculling draw, side-slip draw, bow/stern rudder and the forward paddle stroke. Other topics include safety, dressing for water/air temperatures and kayak launch & landing.
