This is a 4 day skills comprehensive course with an optional skills assessment included for those interested in obtaining the award, or moving forward with a leadership or instructor certification. We designed this course for those with some depth of sea kayaking experience, but perhaps lacking the formal ‘breath’ of instruction included in a Level 3 ACA course. The level 3 course is often offered in a 1 day format. We don’t feel that this is enough time to develop good habits and cement the content. 4 days allows us to provide multiple locations and conditions for teaching and testing. Course also includes rolling instruction as a bonus!
