Want to become an American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified Whitewater Raft Instructor? Maybe you are looking to deepen your own rafting skills by developing a coach’s eye. Learn to teach others how to raft and stay safe on the river. This course is for experienced rafters in both rowing and paddling techniques. Instructor candidates will learn industry standards for teaching river rafting and guiding. Candidates are assessed on teaching ability, technical knowledge, rescue ability and group management skills. Note that participation does not guarantee certification.
