Paddlecraft Angler Endorsement Course

Join us for special opportunity in beautiful Mission Bay, CA – conducted in partnership with the ACA Safety Education and Instruction Council (SEIC). This event will host a one day Paddlesports Fishing Instructor Endorsement on Monday which is available to already certified Kayak or SUP instructors. Enrollment in this endorsement is also open to new instructor candidates participating in the Kayak or SUP ICWs being hosted over the weekend, but will require successful completion of Instructor certification to complete the endorsement course. Instructors and Candidates who enroll in this workshop will be required to do an additional virtual session to prepare for the in person training. *California Fishing license required to participate.

No camping or lodging is available on site. Here are some local options:

What to bring:

  • Properly fitting life jacket
  • Kayak / Canoe / SUP, paddle, and other related gear
  • Gear and equipment for camping
  • Camp chair
  • Food and water for the day
  • Lunch could be on the water (please plan accordingly)
  • Proper clothing (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, close toed shoes, strap for glasses, rain jacket, etc.)

Important note: registration does not include room and board, nor gear / equipment.
