“I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour – his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious” – Vincent Lombardi

More about Anuar
First Strokes:
Anuar’s journey in canoeing began almost by chance. One day, his father noticed a brochure advertising recruitment for rowing and canoe/kayak clubs. Curious, he called Anuar and suggested he check it out. When I arrived at the sports complex, a lady at the front desk asked whether I wanted to join the rowing club or the canoe/kayak club.
Not knowing the difference, Anuar hesitated. Coincidentally, at that very moment, the canoe coach happened to walk by and said, “He’ll join the canoe & kayak club.” Since that day, I’ve fallen in love with the sport of canoeing.
Off the Water:
When Anuar isn’t paddling, He spends his time traveling around the United States, visiting friends and family.
