Montgomery Selected to Host 2027 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Final

Montgomery, Alabama, has been selected to host the 2027 Canoe Slalom World Cup Final, completing the five-leg series and determining the final Olympic ranking placings for athletes.

“The American Canoe Association (ACA) is thrilled to partner with Montgomery Whitewater for this event,” said ACA Executive Director Beth Spilman. “As one of the finest slalom venues in the world, it provides an incredible stage for elite competition, and we look forward to welcoming athletes and visitors from across the globe.”

ACA Competition Director Jed Hinkley added, “We are absolutely thrilled that Montgomery Whitewater has been selected for the 2027 Slalom and Kayak Cross World Cup Final. This is an amazing opportunity for Montgomery Whitewater, the City of Montgomery, and our athletes to be the final event in the Olympic Qualification System. We are excited to partner with them to put on a fantastic event, and we hope this is the first of many more World Cups at Montgomery Whitewater.”
