The 12-mile Sakonnet Surfski Race stretches along Rhode Island’s expansive Sakonnet River tidal estuary, testing paddlers with dynamic downwind conditions. The 20K course exposes athletes to a range of possible wind, wave, and current scenarios, challenging competitors’ fitness and navigational skills in one of the most beautiful and accessible coastal locations in New England.
