Free Kayak and Fishing Clinic for Tampa Bay Families

Tampa, FL- Tampa Bay Kayak Anglers (TBKA), Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN), Bass Pro Shops, and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund invites you this coming Sunday, May 7 to spend a unique day filled with lots of outdoor fun during our event “Vamonos Pa’ Fuera,”(Let’s Go Outside) a free kayak and fishing clinic for the whole family.
The activity will have fully bilingual (Spanish/English) instructors and guides. Participants will learn about Tampa Bay’s bodies of water while exploring mangrove
tunnels on a kayak or learn about local fishing and conservation in the saltwater pond in the center. Participants will receive an introduction to the types of rods used for saltwater fishing while enjoying demonstrations and exercises.
TBKA and FYCCN will provide a limited supply of one-person kayaks and necessary fishing equipment. Registration for this event is required to ensure equipment is available for all participants. All fishing during the clinic will be catch and release.
