This is a one day, 4 hour course designed for participants who are new to kayaking or for those who are interested in improving their kayak skills and getting out on the water. In this course, we will progress through various topics starting on land and then moving to the water.
Topics include:
* Overview of Kayaking
* Kayaking strokes and maneuvers
* Rescue techniques
*Wet exits and re-entry
* Kayak route planning and reading water
