This course is designed for people to learn the necessary skills for touring waterways. Along with learning boat design, safety, equipment, proper paddling strokes and maneuvers, you will also learn how to self-rescue and perform assisted rescues, learn basics of buoy system and distress signals. This course will help you prepare for emergency situations you might encounter while touring.
