Celebration of history, culture, ecology and recreation of the Willamette River, taking place on the Willamette River in Alton Baker Park, Eugene, Oregon. The event includes an on-water paddle parade of watercraft on a quarter mile stretch of river from Alton Baker Park to Valley River Center. The festival also includes the annual PaddleCross Race, from the Alton Baker Canoe Canal, with a portage to the Willamette River in Springfield, and a 2 mile downriver race on the Willamette from Eastgate Woodlands back to Alton Baker Park. The rest of the festival happens on land with music and other acitivities.
