We want you to join us on #GivingTuesday, November 30th, to kick off the #GivingSeason. On #GivingTuesday, Facebook will match donations to nonprofits, up to $8 million! We ask for your donations on November 30th via Facebook or directly through our website – the money raised will be placed in our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Fund. This fund aims to help remove barriers to participation for underrepresented groups or individuals to pursue paddling education, leadership development, competition, and/or instructor certification. Starting in 2022, you’ll see the realization of efforts made by our DEI Board Committee in the form of POC Paddling Leadership Academy events. These programs are designed to train, develop, and mentor people of color as leaders and to help them to transform their local communities and provide representation in paddlesports.
